Young people lead call for action

At the Children in Scotland hustings event on 31 March young people joined Children in Scotland members from across the children's sector in putting their own questions on the future for children and young people directly to politicians, including Adam Ingram the minister for children and early years and shadow cabinet secretary Des McNulty.

The event called on candidates from all the main parties to commit to the 10 goals outlined in Children in Scotland's election manifesto Smarter Services and Better Childhoods. Questions from Children in Scotland's members and young people ranged in topic from additional support needs to educational funding and school closures.
